Front of House Positions

Customer Service/Cashier: You are the face of Sara’s Sweets – our closest direct contact with customers. You will take and fill orders in a very fast-paced and busy environment. You must welcome customers with a friendly and cheerful disposition, and be patient with them as you answer questions. Excellent communication skills are critical, ranging from describing cupcake flavors and products to writing detailed pre-orders. Retail experience preferred, but not necessary.

Back of House Positions

Cupcake Baker: You are the backbone of Sara’s Sweets – the creator of our specialty cupcakes. Your sweet spot is in the kitchen, and you will stay busy hustling through a demanding day of baking. You will mix batters, scoop, and bake cupcakes, followed by filling, frosting, and garnishing. Physical stamina is essential! You will work on special orders as needed. Teamwork is a must – you will be working in close quarters with fellow bakers, and working together seamlessly is a vital part to the success of the bakery.PM Cookie Baker/Prep Baker: You are the afternoon cookie baker on demand, baking more trays of cookies as customers wipe out the front display. You are also the master of prep work – ensuring that our sweets can be produced in a smooth and timely manner. You will prepare fillings, garnishes, and cookie dough as needed to ensure an efficient production schedule of all sweets. Physical stamina is essential to this position. Your responsibilities will also include closing out the kitchen for the evening, including cleaning and organizing to be ready for the upcoming day.AM Cookie Baker/ Breakfast: You are the master of all things cookies and breakfast! You will be responsible for baking cookies, cinnamon rolls, scones, and other breakfast goodies. You must have an attention to detail as you prepare dozens and dozens of cookies each shift. You must be a great multitasker, as you simultaneously portion cookies and manage the ovens.Dishwasher: You are the backbone to keeping the bakery running smoothly on busy days. You will keep the dishes flowing through the dishwasher, so we can stay organized and ready to bake! You will also assist in cupcake garnishing, prep work, and other detail-oriented bakery tasks.
