Adult Cake Decorating Class

Want a fun activity to do with friends, family, or simply by yourself? Sign yourself up for an adult cake decorating class at Sara’s Sweets!

At the class, Sara plus an assistant will guide you through how to assemble and decorate a cake. As well, they will teach you the nitty gritty tips and tricks on decorating!

Within this class you’ll learn to:

crumb coat/prep a cake using buttercream
base coat & smooth the cake
add final floral details

Each ticket includes light charcuterie & treats, your double layer 6-inch cake that you’ll take home, plus all the knowledge & skills necessary to create your masterpiece!

Each person attending must purchase their own ticket. Unfortunately, we do not have a lot of space to accommodate extra people. Age 14+ please. (Younger children may attend with a ticket, as long as they are accompanied by an adult.)

Kid Cake Decorating Class

As well, we offer a kid cake decorating class!

In this class, your child will learn to:

base coat & smooth a single layer cake
add decoration details

For this class, each ticket includes a single layer 6-inch cake that your child will take home, plus all the knowledge & skills necessary to create the masterpiece! They’ll also receive a cupcake token to redeem for a free item of their choice from our bakery display.

Each child attending must purchase their own ticket. Ages 8-13 please. There is not a lot of extra space in the classroom area for adults. You are welcome to hang out in the bakery lobby, snag a cozy drink at Coffe Amor, or leave and enjoy an hour to yourself. Class duration is 1 hour.
